I don’t remember how Armenia scored the goal, Italian national football team and Napoli winger Christian Maggio said after the Azzurri defeated Armenia on Friday.

“I don’t remember how Armenia scored the goal because I fell after the hit and didn’t understand what happened. I received a hard hit to my head. I thought the referee would stop the game. The first half was a hard-fought battle, but the second half was an open game and we took advantage of our opportunities. We did everything for which we were preparing during training,” Football Italia quotes 30-year-old Christian Maggio as saying.

To note, the 2014 World Cup Brazil’s qualifying Group B match between Armenia and Italy was played at Armenian capital city Yerevan on Friday, and the Azzurri defeated the hosts by a score of 3-1.
