Bako Sahakyan and Ara Abrahamyan meet

President of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic Bako Sahakyan received on Saturday a delegation headed by Ara Abrahamyan, the president of the Union of Armenians of Russia.

According to a press release by the NKR Presidential Office, issues related to the implementation of different projects in the country, as well as possibilities for deepening the Artsakh-Diaspora ties were discussed at the meeting.

Highly praising the Union and the World Armenian Congress’ role in the socio-economic development of Artsakh and, Sahakyan said they have all the preconditions necessary for the further expansion and deepening of mutual cooperation.

The meeting was also attended by the primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Pargev Martirossyan, NKR Prime Minister Ara Haroutunyan and other officials.
