Our cultural heritage is not centuries, but millennia old

"Dear compatriots,
Congratulations on Holy Translators' Day.
We are the people whose cultural heritage has a biography of not centuries, but millennia. That heritage has been one of the foundations of our existence and the never-depreciated proof of our mental capacity.
The lasting treasures of Armenian translation art are conspicuous business cards in different times, enriching the literary heritage of the civilized world since the translation of Mashtots’ Bible. We’ve valued the importance of translation art since then and have given a new breath to the literary treasures of the world.
Dear Compatriots,
The Holy Translators’ Day is exceptional from the aspect of recording the spiritual and intellectual potential of the nation. Including it as a separate holiday in the official calendar we state, both the people’s and the authority’s assessment-attitude towards the speech, language and the culture. We managed to create, write and translate yet in the 5th century and I’m sure, we will continue in the future.”
