Turkey informed beforehand on checking of Armenian plane

General Administration of Civil Aviation of Armenia released a statement connected with landing of Armenian plane in Erzurum city. The announcement is presented below:
“Humanitarian aid is provided to Syrian community from RA. Last week Turkish aviation authorities informed AIR Armenia company, if the company wants its plane to pass over Turkish air zone it should land in Turkey’s Erzurum airport and a routine check should be realized.
The air company gave its agreement and from the beginning landing was planned. At the moment the plane is in the airport of Erzurum and is passing cargo checking. Eight staff members and a person accompanying the cargo are in the airport at the moment.”
