Will Putin arrive in Armenia or not?

Asked about the possible visit of Russia’s President Vladimir Putin to Armenia in the first half of November, the Russian diplomatic sources told the paper that such high-level visits cannot be “spontaneous” and the parties learn about them at least two months before for preparing protocol procedures, agreements to be signed, undertake security measures.
“As of the moment there is no such document,” the paper quoted the source as saying.
As to the arrangement over 2 billion USD the Russians are going to provide in case Armenia joins the Eurasian Union, the sources said it is early to speak about it. “The Armenian side has already started the documentation works connected with distribution of the credit, and other issues, but in case there is a necessity to sign agreement, naturally the Armenian side will go to Moscow and not vice versa,” the paper quoted the source as saying.
The paper reminds that Armenian and Russian presidents referred to the 2 billion USD credit at their Moscow meeting. Asked whether Vladimir Putin will arrive in Armenia in the first decade of November, Russian embassy’s press secretary Sergey Abelyan said they have no official information about it.
