Poultry meat, pork imports from Brazil to Armenia banned
EconomyAs a result of the Food Safety Inspection Body inspections at the border, from November 24 to 28, the importing of several food products into Armenia has been banned on the basis of their laboratory inconsistency. These products are as follows:
Poultry meat from Brazil: 64,000 kg, due to listeria monocytogenes bacteria indicator.
Bovine offal from Brazil: 22,509.01 kg, due to listeria monocytogenes bacteria indicator.
Pork from Brazil: 50,976 kg, due to listeria monocytogenes bacteria indicator.
Iodized table salt from Iran: 1,325 kg, due to iodine mass indicator.
