Russia MFA spox: I wouldn't want people of Armenia to be deceived again by western ‘friends’

I wouldn't want at all for the people of Armenia to be deceived again by the so-called friends from the West, stated the official representative of the Russian foreign ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"Today we gave many examples of how the West is able to deceive. Oh, I wouldn't want at all for the people of Armenia to be deceived by those so-called friends again. The thing is that we have already talked about this. 

“As for France and those [French] ‘Bastion’ armored vehicles, it is subject to elimination; this is obvious even in the situation that is unfolding [in Ukraine] in the context of a special military operation. I have commented on it in detail in the November 22 [press] briefing. If many mass media which have ties with the current authorities of Armenia did not present this information in a distorted manner, did not engage in anti-journalistic activities, but had given the people of their country the opportunity to get acquainted with quotes and direct speech, probably it would be more understandable that, unfortunately, once again indeed the people of Armenia are being served fake news. Why fake news? Because that collection of ‘mixture’ military equipment produced by different countries has never contributed to the increase of defense capability; it is obvious," Zakharova said.Also, she commented on the statement by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia that all problems with Russia should be resolved in an atmosphere of partnership, and noted that Russia can only welcome this."The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has similar disposition," added the official representative of the Russian foreign ministry.
