State Department: US welcomes Turkey's role in normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations

As for the recent talks between US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Turkish FM Hakan Fidan, this topic was discussed, according to the US State Department spokesperson.
As per Miller, this matter is regularly discussed by the heads of foreign affairs departments of the two countries. However, he did not publicize the details of the discussion.
At a press conference held in the Azerbaijani capital o Baku on Thursday, Turkish FM Hakan Fidan announced that Ankara supports efforts aimed at normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. In his words, if relations between Yerevan and Baku are normalized, Turkey will normalize relations with Armenia.
