Russia peacekeeping contingent holds talks on demining in Karabakh
WorldThe command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh held negotiations with the Azerbaijani side to agree on demining the area, TASS reports.
Talks were held between the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, representatives of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), and the engineering troops of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan on agreeing on the joint humanitarian demining of the area, the respective bulletin says.
It is noted as well that the Russian peacekeepers continue to collaborate with Azerbaijan in order to ensure the safety and the observance of humanitarian rights of the civilian population of Nagorno-Karabakh.
