Mher Grigoryan: No timeframes yet for Armenia-Azerbaijan border delimitation commissions’ next meeting
PoliticalThere are no agreed timeframes yet for the next meeting of the border delimitation commissions of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan of Armenian told about this to reporters Friday—and within the framework of the meeting of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission.
"I can't say because at every phase, I believe the work will be different until the next phase or the next meeting. And in that sense, it makes no sense to agree on some standard timeframes. This time we were discussing the work procedure [of the aforementioned commission]. At the next meeting, I believe we will discuss the regulation, which will have a description of methodology, definitions, etc. It will be a much more complicated project and will require even more time in terms of internal circulation. Depending on what content the agreement will have after the next meeting, then more approximately can be visualized when the next meeting will be," said the Armenian deputy premier.
