Audit Chamber head: Armenia ranks 93 out of 193 in international cybersecurity ranking
SocietyArmenia is 93rd out of 193 in the international ranking of cybersecurity. This was stated by the chairman of the Audit Chamber of Armenia, Atom Janjughazyan, during the debates on the report on the implementation of the concept of ensuring cybersecurity at Monday’s meeting of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly.
According to Janjughazyan, Armenia’s institutional organizations which are obligated to ensure cybersecurity in the country are currently weak.
"No training has been conducted in terms of cybersecurity [in Armenia]. That is, the employees are not really ready for such situations," said the head of the Audit Chamber.
He added that they have no means of monitoring cybersecurity threats in real time in Armenia.
