Audit Chamber: Armenia digitization strategy performance extremely low
SocietyThe performance of digitization strategy is extremely low in Armenia. Until now, none of the noted ten respective measures have been implemented on time and completely. This was stated by the chairman of the Audit Chamber of Armenia, Atom Janjughazyan, during the debates on the report on the implementation of the concept of ensuring cybersecurity at Monday’s meeting of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly.
The Armenian official noted that it is hard to call the aforesaid strategy “comprehensive.”
"It lacks measures of digital transformation in the domains of economy and public administration. There is no schedule and no responsible persons. Instead, strategic measures of a branch nature have been developed and implemented by separate departments," Janjughazyan noted.
In addition, as per the head of the Audit Chamber of Armenia, the changes implemented by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry generally do not correspond to the national ideas of digitization.
