Premier confers about Armenia demographic strategy draft

A consultation was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which discussions continued on the development of the draft of Armenia's demographic strategy.

The work done as a result of the previous discussion, the objectives of this strategy, as well as the plans and measures resulting from it were presented.

Next, the participants of the consultation exchanged views on the aforesaid draft, and presented their observations on the objectives of Armenia's demographic strategy and the expected measures.

"This is our fundamental strategy because, ultimately, our objective is to make people feel comfortable while living in Armenia. Basically, all our strategies, policies are largely aimed at this," PM Pashinyan noted, and emphasized that there is a need to integrate and synchronize strategies and roadmaps.

Also, the premier stressed the need for continued review of strategies, which will contribute to their full implementation and increase in efficiency.

In addition, Nikol Pashinyan instructed those in attendance, taking as a basis the observations made and the discussions of the interested parties about the draft of Armenia's demographic strategy, to carry out appropriate modifications in this draft.
