Iran FM departs for Armenia
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian left Tehran for Yerevan on Wednesday morning to hold bilateral talks with Armenian officials, Mehr reported.
The top Iranian diplomat is set to discuss ways of expanding bilateral relations between Tehran and Yerevan in politics, economy, and culture during his stay in Armenia.
He will also hold consultations regarding the important issues related to the South Caucasus region in the 3+3 framework.
On Tuesday night, Amir-Abdollahian held separate telephonic conversations with his Azerbaijani and Russian counterparts, discussing the developments in the Caucasus and the establishment of peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia by taking advantage of the capacities of the regional countries.
