Opposition MP: After ‘digesting’ well-known decree, they will act same way towards various provinces of Armenia
ArmeniaIn order to patch the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) page and remove the topic from the final agenda, Azerbaijan first brought out the provision concerning Artsakh in the ongoing negotiations after the 44-day war in 2020, and between 2021 and 2023, in phases, even after its military aggression, it is pushing forward to insure itself at the level of the parliament the so-called the right of Azerbaijanis to return to Armenia. Armenian opposition MP Tigran Abrahamyan wrote about this on Facebook.
"Parallel to this, during the same 2021-23 years, Azerbaijan has carried out several attacks on the RA [(Republic of Armenia)] sovereign territories and is occupying around 200 square km of territory.
Now the authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan are trying to convince the Armenian people that the cancellation of the well-known decree of the Artsakh president [on the dissolution of Artsakh] can lead to Azerbaijani aggression.
Over the past 3 years, Azerbaijan has been dealing with the RA authorities as whatever it wanted, as it wanted: unleashing a war, breaking arrangement, lying, deceiving, making them a ‘doormat.’
It may seem to only the most ignorant or the stupid people that if Azerbaijan has set a goal to snatch something from Armenia again, it will not find an opportunity.
The issue of Artsakh has remained in the throat of the authorities of Armenia and Azerbaijan, and in order to get rid of it, they speak the language of joint blackmail and threats.
After ‘digesting’ the well-known decree, they will act in the same way towards various provinces of the RA in order to satisfy all the expectations of Azerbaijan's territorial and political ambitions," added the Armenian opposition lawmaker.
