Minister: Armenian cultural heritage remaining in Karabakh has been inventoried, there is complete database
Armenian PressThe Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia is intensively working on the matter of preservation of the Armenian cultural heritage of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia, stated this at the year-end press conference on Wednesday.
"We have a whole action plan together with the colleagues of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on how we will implement the protection of the remaining [Armenian] cultural heritage in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh," she said.
Andreasyan said that the tangible and intangible Armenian cultural heritage remaining in Nagorno-Karabakh has been inventoried, and there is a complete database.
"We inventory as well list the cases of vandalism and intensively transfer them to all possible international partners. Also, electronic repositories, websites are being created, which make it all clear and visible. We have also planned exhibitions, conferences both in Armenia and abroad, on all relevant platforms. We also are collecting and printing about the [Armenian] cultural heritage, which we are actively disseminating through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in all the places that should be and be accessible," added the minister.
