Israeli settlers break into Al-Aqsa Mosque territory, perform Talmudic rituals

With the protection of the Israeli police, several Israeli settlers broke into the territory of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and performed Talmudic rituals nearby, the Palestinian Wafa news agency reported.

Far-right Israeli settlers frequently break into this compound in the heart of East Jerusalem, and demand that a third Jewish temple be built in its place.

In 2023, more than 48,000 Israeli settlers broke into the compound, according to the religious department that oversees the mosque.
