Azerbaijan
The Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Defense Army gave 223 casualties—25 of them civilians, including 5 minors—and 244 people were wounded—about 80 of them civilians, including 10 minors—during the Azerbaijani military aggression on September 19-20, 2023. Argishti Kyaramyan, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, announced this in an interview with the Public Television of Armenia.
According to him, 20 people are currently considered missing—and 5 of them are civilians.
As per Kyaramyan, about 20 cases of corpse torture by Azerbaijan were recorded.
Also, about 70 cases of death have been recorded on the road of forced deportation from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia and already in Armenia itself. According to the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, the main reason for these deaths among Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians was their psychological state as a result of Azerbaijan's actions.
