A landslide covered the houses in a rural area of the southwestern Yunnan province of China, and 44 people remained under the landslide, China Central Television (CCTV) reported.
This disaster happened at 5.51am Beijing time.
Authorities have mobilized more than 40 units of special equipment and more than 200 people to find the missing.
