Armenia territorial administration minister, EU envoy discuss aviation
EconomyThe Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Gnel Sanosyan, received the Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos.
The minister welcomed the ambassador, and emphasized the need to deepen the Armenia-EU cooperation—for which there are good prerequisites.
The EU envoy, in turn, stressed that 2023 was a good year in terms of the development of Armenia-EU relations, a lot of work was done to deepen Armenia-EU relations, and 2024 will be very important in that regard.
They are committed to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation and deepening of cooperation in all directions, Maragos added.
During the meeting, aviation sector matters were discussed for the most part. In this connection, the EU ambassador emphasized that the aviation sector and aviation security are in the center of their attention.
A number of other matters of bilateral interest were also discussed; in particular, the construction of the southern part of the North-South road corridor, as well as the construction of the Armenia-Georgia power transmission line.
