Government approves agreement on status of EU monitoring mission in Armenia

In its Cabinet session Thursday, the Armenian government approved the agreement on ratifying the agreement on the status of the European Union civilian monitoring mission (EUMA) in Armenia.

The respective draft was developed to ensure the ratification of the EUMA status agreement between Armenia and the European Union, signed on November 20, 2023, and in accordance with the law of Armenia on international treaties.

The draft, which was developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, states as well that as a result of the adoption of this draft, the procedures for the entry into force of the aforesaid agreement will be ensured.
