About 43% more earmarked to science in Armenia in 2024 than in 2023

The Ministry of Finance of Armenia informed about how much the country's state budget spending on science has increased between 2020 and 2024.

Accordingly, the Armenian government plans to earmark around 36 billion drams to science in 2024, and this is about 43 percent more than the amount that provided by the government's revised program for 2023 and 2.7 times more than in 2020.

This year, 1.1 percent of Armenia’s state budget spending will be allocated to science, compared to 0.7 percent in 2020.
