North Korea tests submarine-launched cruise missiles
ForeignNorth Korea has successfully launched two new "Pulhwasal-3-31" cruise missiles from a submarine. The tests were supervised by the leader of the country, Kim Jong-un, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported.
These missiles successfully hit their targets.
They were in flight for about two hours.
"The test launch did not have any impact on the security of the surrounding countries and had nothing to do with the situation in the region. Kim Jong-un expressed great satisfaction with the results of the tests," KCNA added.
No other details are provided.
