Armenia MFA comments on Serbia-Azerbaijan military cooperation
PoliticalThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, responding to Sputnik Armenia's inquiry, has commented on the current cooperation between Serbia and Azerbaijan in the defense sector.
In recent times, a close cooperation between these two countries has been established. After Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Serbia, information appeared in the media that Belgrade sold 48 NORA-B52 self-propelled gun-howitzers to Azerbaijan, with a total cost of 311 million euros.
Sputnik Armenia asked the MFA of Armenia whether Armenian officials discussed this matter with their Serbian counterparts, taking into account the previous friendly relations with Serbia.
"There is constant active cooperation with Serbia. At the same time, we inform that all the matters on the Armenian-Serbian agenda are being discussed as needed," responded the MFA of Armenia.
To add, the defense ministries of Azerbaijan and Serbia on Thursday signed a 2024 bilateral military cooperation plan.
