Armenia ex-official placed under house arrest for 2 months

Former Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, Ani Ispiryan, has been placed under house arrest for two months as a preventive measure, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Supreme Judicial Council.
To note, arrests started Wednesday at the Ministry of Economy of Armenia—and in connection with several cases of corruption at the ministry.
Six people and one official were taken into custody on that day in connection with these cases.
