Armenian PressAt this phase, the strengthening of industrial cooperation, the creation of new business connections, the establishment of cross-border trade in digital services, and data exchange should be considered among the priority tasks of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during Friday’s meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
According to him, the institutional environment for the development of the EAEU single digital space already exists.
"However, in our opinion, ensuring the proper functioning of the general processes of information exchange between member states, as well as the phased transition of the EAEU integrated information system to a more modern and effective model of interaction on the digital platform, will require a separate discussion and detailed study," Pashinyan added.
"Along with deciphering the benefits and advantages for business, the citizens of our countries should feel also the practical benefits of the free movement of goods, services, and workforce being implemented in the EAEU," said the premier of Armenia.
