February 7 is the day of writing in Armenian letters on the internet.

This initiative had started on February 7, 2012, with Facebook user Zohrap Yeganyan's post calling for February 7 to be declared the day of writing in Armenian letters on the internet in support of Armenian letters on virtual platforms.

"Let's put an end to the distortion of the Armenian script, let's protect the Armenian alphabet, which is an exclusive world heritage, let's write in Armenian letters," Yeganyan had said.
