Azerbaijan army firing on Armenia combat positions has ceased
Armenian PressAs of 9:30am Tuesday, the firing by Azerbaijani armed forces on Armenian combat positions in the vicinity of Nerkin Hand village, in Syunik Province, has ceased, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Armenia.
The MoD urges partner media outlets not to disseminate unverified information, to refrain from referencing individuals with insufficient and inaccurate frontline information, and to rely on official reports from the MoD.
The MoD will issue additional official statements regarding Armenian casualties and the health condition of the wounded.
Earlier, Armenian News-NEWS.am reported that starting at 5:30am on Tuesday, the units of the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire—from small arms—in the direction of the Armenian positions located in the Nerkin Hand village sector in Syunik Province. As a result, according to preliminary data, the Armenian side has two casualties and wounded.
