Meeting of the Foreign Minister of Armenia and the OSCE Secretary General

On March 2, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Helga Schmid, the OSCE Secretary General.

 

The interlocutors discussed issues of cooperation between Armenia and the OSCE, including the implementation of particular projects.

 

Regional issues were touched upon. Minister Mirzoyan briefed on the latest discussions in the normalization process of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations and key issues, particularly the positions of Armenia on ensuring the further delimitation process on the basis of the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1991 and unblocking the regional communications. Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of demonstrating clear commitment by Azerbaijan and adherence to the declared principles in these matters.

 

Views were exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
