Palestinian death toll in Gaza rises to 31,272 as Israeli army conducts large-scale airstrikes
Middle EastReuters/CCTV. The Palestinian death toll from the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has exceeded 31,272, with over 73,000 others being injured, since the Israel-Hamas conflict broke out on Oct. 7 last year, the Gaza-based Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
Over the past day, 88 civilians have been killed as Israeli army conducted large-scale airstrikes on multiple Hamas military targets in the central Gaza, according to the ministry.
Several military facilities, including tunnel shafts and anti-tank missile launch sites, were destroyed by the Israeli army, and military operations have been strengthened in northern Gaza cities, said the latest report of the Israeli Defense Forces.
Furthermore, a warehouse in Rafah belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East was reportedly attacked on Wednesday, causing dozens of injuries.
On the same day, the Gaza-based Health Ministry stated that the attack on the warehouse resulted in at least five deaths. The Israeli Defense Forces has not yet responded to the incident.
