French Parliamentarians hosted in National Assembly

We always highlighted and continue highlighting the Armenian-French relations. We welcome the presence of the French colleagues in different formats in Armenia, and we are happy that the bilateral ties have already entered the phase of implementation of practical steps. The Chairman of the RA NA Armenia-France Friendship Group Vladimir Vardanyan noted, welcoming the delegation led by the Chairwoman of the France-Armenia Friendship Group of the National Assembly of France Anne-Laurence Petel.

 

The members of the RA NA Armenia-France Friendship Group Sargis Khandanyan, Armen Khachatryan, Narek Zeynalyan, Luisne Badalyan, Artur Khchatryan, Aghvan Vardanyan, Anna Grigoryan and Mher Melkonyan took part in the meeting held in parliament on March 25.

 

Vladimir Vardanyan emphasized the French colleagues’ participation in international multilateral platforms and various support in all pro-Armenian initiatives.

 

It was noted that France has a most serious role in the development of the security and democratic environment of our country. The Armenian parliamentarians underscored the importance of the EU Civilian Mission in Armenia in ensuring the security of our country.

 

Thanking for warm reception, the Chairwoman of the France-Armenia Friendship Group Anne-Laurence Petel evaluated fruitful and effective the bilateral collaboration.

 

At the meeting the Armenian parliamentarians presented the ongoing processes and the security challenges of Armenia.

 

The Armenian and French deputies discussed issues regarding the deepening of bilateral, as well as multilateral cooperation.
