Xiaomi unveils cheap smartphone Poco C61, which has flagship design

The Poco brand belonging to the Xiaomi company has introduced the budget C61 smartphone, which received the design of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra flagship. Moreover, the new phone is offered for $90, GizmoChina website reports.

The Poco C61 is a "clone" of another Xiaomi smartphone, the Redmi A3, which has a 6.71-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1650x720 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. Tempered Corning Gorilla Glass 3 provides screen protection.

The budget MediaTek Helio G36 chip is responsible for the work of the new product. The 8 MP primary camera is complemented by a 0.08 MP sensor, and there's a 5 MP selfie camera on the front. The 5,000 mAh battery only supports wired 10W charging.

Other features of the Poco C61 include a fingerprint scanner on the power button, an audio camera, a microSD card slot, and Android 14 operating system.

For now, the Poco C61 is being sold exclusively in India. The cost of the new product is $90 and $102 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB and 6/128GB variants, respectively.
