Newspaper: Generals are gone, Armenia PM has decided to hand over some Tavush Province settlements to Azerbaijan
Armenian PressHraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: In the initial version of the tripartite statement of November 9-10, 2020, there was a clause about Tavush [Province], which was later removed.
This matter later became the subject of mutual accusations. The [army] generals were saying that it was thanks to them that this clause was removed, [PM Nikol] Pashinyan was saying the opposite. In June 2021, during one of the pre-election gatherings, he announced that he did not agree to sign the statement of November 9 due to the clause regarding Tavush.
He made the same claim later, too. But the generals forcing [him] to sign are gone now, now he has decided to hand over the [several] Tavush settlements [to Azerbaijan] of his own free will.
