Telegram has added new features

The developers of Telegram have released a new beta version of the messenger for Android with a host of new features that will soon appear in the main version of the app.

One of the key changes is the introduction of a mini-apps catalog. A new tab for mini-apps will appear in the search, allowing users to look for web programs and games by name, as well as view previously launched and popular mini-apps.

The recently introduced built-in browser in Telegram will also get an update with a range of new features. Users will be able to open multiple pages simultaneously and switch between them, view history, create bookmarks, and manage cache and cookies. Additionally, it will be possible to change the search engine.

Users will also be able to add a weather sticker displaying the current temperature to their stories and choose covers for video stories in their profile by setting a frame from the same video as the cover.
