Baku threatens France in international arena and discredits democracy: Senate of France

The French Senate Committee on Foreign Influence presented a report entitled 'Combating Harmful Foreign Intervention', addressing Baku among other issues. According to the report, Azerbaijan is a new dangerous element in the international arena, which threatens France and discredits democracy.

 

"After the support of Paris to Armenia, Azerbaijan started showing active hostility. It is expressed by attempts to interfere in the internal affairs of France. The French ministers noted the unprecedented crisis in the relations between France and Azerbaijan," the document says.

 

According to the report, Azerbaijan is carrying out operations against France with the support of Russia and not through state structures. "These actions also extend to the French overseas territories," the document emphasizes.

 

It is noted that Baku also organized a disinformation campaign against the Olympic Games.
