Rodents’, primates’ import to, transit transportation via Armenia banned to prevent mpox
The import and transportation of rodents and primates through Armenia is prohibited in order to prevent mpox, reports the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia.
In order to prevent mpox outbreaks and sources, the import and transit transportation of all types of rodents—alive and dead (for animal feed)—and primates through the territory of Armenia is prohibited as of Wednesday, and until further notifications are issued by the World Health Organization.
