Karkop is under the water-Sanosyan

"Particularly, the biggest devastation was observed in Sanahin,Alaverdi: we have many water-covered areas, buildings. Karkop is the most damaged settlement along the entire riverbed of Debed. The whole village is under the water and the whole village has been evacuated. Only yesterday it was already possible to work there. Yesterday, approximately 30 rescuers worked, today approximately 100 rescuers are working," said the minister.

According to Sanosyan, there is a lot of damage at the Ayrum station and at the various railway stations also, along the entire riverbed to Bagratashen, gardens, buildings, and various public facilities have been damaged.

"Part of the damage is not visible, because the settlement is still under the water," added Sanosyan.
