There is real race between countries to strengthen sovereignty: Putin

The President of Russia announced at the plenary session of the Petersburg International Economic Forum that he sees a race between countries to strengthen sovereignty.

 

"We see a real race between countries to strengthen their sovereignty, at three key levels: state, value-cultural and economic," said Vladimir Putin.

 

According to him, the countries that until recently acted as the leaders of world development are trying with all their might to preserve the role of hegemon, which they are gradually losing.
