Pashinyan: Border posts being installed in Tavush Province are pillars of Armenia's security guarantees
RussiaThe purpose of Armenia's existence is to ensure the freedom, happiness, and well-being of Armenian citizens. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during his press conference Tuesday.
Pashinyan started to show, with slides, the internal and external strategy and vision of Armenia.
"Armenia's legal system is justice based on popularly agreed law. There has always been a need for justice in Armenia, but it is very important that the people of Armenia themselves be the author, the creator, the source of the standard of justice.
The economic order of Armenia is social justice based on labor and business freedom. Social justice must be based on work. Whoever can become rich with his work must become rich. One can't live well on social assistance.
Our regional environment is as follows: Deepening and development of neighborliness with Georgia and Iran, management of enmity with Turkey and Azerbaijan, reduction, zeroing, regional transport integration, establishment, deepening, development of economic ties.
We envisage ensuring security by diversifying foreign relations, reforming the army, and introducing a comprehensive security and defense system. All this must be based on legitimacy.
It is with economic development that the implementation of all these theories is possible. Here, we do not consider social development, the development of people's opportunities as secondary," said Pashinyan, adding that peace is necessary for all this.
"Only peace can guarantee the security of Armenia. We have adopted the peace agenda as a means of ensuring the security of Armenia, and we are implementing [it] as a security guarantee system. The [Armenia-Azerbaijan] border posts that are being installed in Tavush Province are the pillars of Armenia’s security guarantees. We will do everything to increase those pillars," the Armenian PM emphasized.
