Georgia’s Parliament to discuss EU 9 points on May 10 and transparency bill on May 13
SocietyThe Legal Affairs Committee will discuss the nine points required to join the European Union at the sitting on May 10, the committee chair, Anri Okhanashvili, said in a post, adding the committee will discuss the transparency bill in its third reading on May 13, Georgian Public Broadcaster reports.
“On Friday, May 10, we continue to work on the legislative changes that derive from the nine points determined by the European Commission for our country’s accession to the European Union.
Only the legislative amendments related to the nine points of the European Union prepared in the 2nd reading will be considered at the committee meeting.
We will discuss the transparency bill on Monday, May 13. During the Passover Week, please refrain from spreading lies. Happy Easter! Once again, I congratulate everyone on the Easter holiday”, Okhanashvili wrote.
