Big demonstration against law on ‘foreign agents’ planned in Georgia capital Tbilisi Saturday

The "European march" slated for Saturday in the capital, Tbilisi, shall become the culmination of the small protests that were staged in Georgia throughout the week.The Parliament of Georgia plans to return, on May 13, to the debates on the "Transparency of Foreign Influence" bill that was adopted earlier in two readings, and the final voting on this bill is scheduled for May 17. On that day, the Day of Family Sanctity is celebrated in Georgia, in connection with which demonstrations will be staged by the church faithful.
