Russia’s Putin submits Mishustin’s candidacy for PM’s office

Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma the candidacy of Mikhail Mishustin for the post of Prime Minister, State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin informed on Telegram.

Immediately after Putin's inauguration, the Cabinet of Ministers, led by Mishustin, had submitted its resignation to the leader of the country.

The Russian PM's candidacy will be confirmed at Friday’s plenary session of the State Duma.
