French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies hosted a delegation led by Cardinal Jean-Marc Aveline, Metropolitan Archbishop of Marseille, France, the French diplomat informed on X—formerly Twitter.

"I had the honor to host the Archbishop of Marseille, Cardinal Aveline, and the delegation led by him at the [French] embassy [in Yerevan]. During the meeting, views were exchanged about the situation in Armenia, Armenian-French relations, and the inseparable bond between Marseille and the Armenian people," wrote the French ambassador to Armenia.
