Pashinyan sets up working group under Armenia-Azerbaijan border delimitation, security commission
PoliticalBy the decision of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, a working group has been formed under the Commission on Delimitation and Border Security of the State Border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
This working group will clarify the coordinates as a result of geodetic measurements for the relevant parts of the border between the settlements of Baghanis (Armenia)-Baghanis Ayrum (Azerbaijan), Voskepar (Armenia)-Ashaghi Askipara (Azerbaijan), Kirants (Armenia)-Kheyrimli (Azerbaijan), and Berkaber (Armenia)-Ghizilhajili (Azerbaijan), and prepare a corresponding Protocol-description draft.
This nine-member working group will be headed by Governor of Tavush Province Hayk Ghalumyan. The group comprises the heads of Noyemberyan, Ijevan, Baghanis, Berkaber, Kirants, Voskepar settlements, as well as Serob Makhsudyan, a resident of Voskepar village.
