Senator Bob Menendez regrets that US government was not more forceful against Azerbaijan's ethnic cleansing of Karabakh
Օրվա խորհուրդSenator Bob Menendez, reflecting on the ethnic cleansing of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Armenians by Azerbaijan, expressed regret that the US government was not more forceful in responding to that tragedy. Menendez announced this at an event in the House of Representatives of the US Congress—and dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide and the demand for justice for Nagorno-Karabakh.
“What we saw with Azerbaijan's ethnic cleansing of Artsakh is deplorable. And I regret that our government was not more forceful. I was pushing them to be far more forceful. And now it is time for us once and for all to insist that the Administration no longer use its waiver to provide arms to the Azerbaijani government,” Senator Menendez stated, the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) reports on X—former Twitter.
