“168 Zham”: the Russians do not respect Armenia as a reliable partner

“Eurasian Union is response to more progress of European Union, but it will not make pressure on Armenia”, in talk with journalist of “168 Zham” said director of the Centre for Regional Studies Richard Kirakosyan, mentioning about Russia and EU’s relations with Armenia and discussions about confrontation.

In Kirakosyan’s opinion a greater trial is expected for Armenia after presidential elections, when president Vladimir Putin arrives in Armenia.

“Surprisingly, the Russians are wrong, as they do not respect Armenia as a reliable partner. And the special mistake is that Putin will arrive after the elections and in his first statement will punish Armenia raising the prices’ of gas. But it is not the best way to strengthen the relations with Russia”
