Today is Human Rights Day

The whole world celebrates Human Rights Day on December 10.

10 December 1948, UNO adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Since 1950, the whole world celebrates December 10 as an International Human Rights Day.

On this day, many events are organized by human rights organizations, stressing the importance of human rights and protection of priority.

On December 10, the Nobel Committee in Oslo gives the Nobel Peace prize.

Human rights and fundamental freedoms are also set out in the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, the Human Rights Institute was founded in Armenia,too.
