Killed Armenian pilots’ bodies to be brought from Congo
Emergency Case
The bodies of five Armenian pilots killed in plane crash in Congo, on Nov. 30, will be transported to Armenia during the next two days.
The Armenian crew members were Varazdat Balasanyan, Ara Tovmasyan, Tadevos Hovhannesyan, Andranik Gevorgyan, Edgar Avetyan.
Nelli Cherchinyan, Spokeswoman for the General Department of Civil Aviation, told Lurer.com that the age of the crashed IL-76 airplane expired this November, and the Armenian side cannot have allowed its operation.
So it was the aviation authorities of Congo that allowed the operation of the plane.
