The Armenian parliamentarians’ intercepted private talk, which appeared on the Internet on Sunday, has nothing to do with the National Security Service (NSS), says a spokesperson.

“All the accusations are fabricated and groundless,” Artsvin Baghramyan told Lurer.com.

It comes after Levon Zurabyan of the opposition Armenian National Congress issued astatement late on Sunday, accusing the NSS of intercepting his conversation with ex-Foreign Minister and Prosperous Armenia MP Vardan Oskanyan, and posting the record on YouTube.

The intercepted video record showed the two MPs discuss plans for the upcoming presidential election, including the possibility of nominating a joint candidate.
