Passions have flared up in NA

Today, at a special session of the National Assembly, RA Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) deputies David Harutyunyan and Arpine Hovhannisyan presented the bill on amendments and additions to the law "Rules of the National Assembly", which provided for approval of "civil harmony" in the Ethics Commission.
This project has been a matter of urgency by the Government to the National Assembly.
Now the places in ethics commission are distributed according to the principle of equality, however, according to Hovannisyan, the places should be allocated in proportion to the political forces.
"Ethics Commission should be provided the entire palette of the political field," said Hovhannisyan.
According to the proposal, if the commission in certain statutory period does not carry on the investigation of the problem, this implies the legal implications, the application is rejected, and it is considered that there was no violation of ethics.
ARF MP Minasyan, pointing to the fact that in the Committee on State and Legal Affairs, the issue had not been discussed, said, "You represent the project on the basis of personal revenge."
ARF leader Armen Rustamyan also joined to the dispute and he described the bill as "political."
NA president Hovik Abrahamyan also joined them. He was angry at many questions aimed RPA deputy: "What's your deal? What is your business, and who will report that? It is the task of our group."
